The Knosee
Several weeks ago I was sitting under the weight of revelation and reality. It was heavy and I was weary, burdened by many factors outside my control or responsibility.
Every day was like trudging through mud. Fighting to stay focused on my faith in deliverance in God's timing but the waiting, the in-between, was brutal.
I'd make small steps forward but they often felt insignificant in the grand scheme of how much needed to be addressed and handled. I took the small wins anyway and gave myself grace. Movement felt imperceivable.
"God, this is such a process," I'd said. "Nothing feels like it's moving but I KNOW you're moving but I feel like I'm in quicksand."
"It is a process but you're also making progress."
And it struck me how if you swap the C with a G you move quickly from process to progress.
Three little letters.
Every step forward, no matter how small, is process to progress. Sometimes this is physical progress toward a project or a stack of exhausting to-do's and sometimes it is the processing we need internally - emotionally and spiritually - to progress into who we're called to be.
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. - Galatians 6:9
